The Rag Trader opened in August 2016 on Drury St in Dublin’s fashionable Creative Quarters. Drury’s street was once the rag trade district, with many warehouses and offices all concerned with the textile industry. The Rag Trader has taken this piece of Dublin history and run with it. The building itself was once a warehouse and today it houses a rather unique whiskey pub. They have managed to capture this period of time with the sympathetic renovation. The old world comes alive once you step through their door.

The Rag Trader may be a new bar but oozes old world charm, with the parlour room up front which leads onto a fireplace which has a lit fire when it is chilly outside. Trust us, once sat next to it, it is almost impossible to leave. Just beyond the cosy fireplace is the bar which can be accessed from all sides.
With over 100 Irish whiskeys on offer you are spoilt for choice, join us on The Whiskey Trail and discover the best bar in Ireland.
