The Descendants cask programme gives individuals, groups, and businesses the opportunity to become one of only 100 cask owners in the 2020 cask edition. The 8-year programme will write the hundred participants into the history of the Dingle Distillery.
Your cask will be one of only four casks produced that day: overseen by Master Distiller Graham Coull.
The cask will sit in our warehouse to mature and after the 8 year period you can choose to bottle or to further mature your spirit, giving you perhaps your own 21 year old Single Malt Irish Whiskey in years to come.
The Descendants programme gives participants this opportunity alongside many other benefits including an annual bottle of Dingle Single Malt Whiskey delivered to you, private access to the Dingle Distillery warehouse to see and sample your cask once a year and 15% discount on all Dingle products from our online store.
The Dingle Distillery Whiskey
Dingle produce both Single Malt and Pot Still whiskeys in the distillery. The spirit is triple distilled in bespoke stills built by Forsyth’s’ still makers in Scotland. Every aspect of our process is manual from
the mashing in, to the addition of yeast and the cutting of the heads and tails of our spirit. Our casks are then hand filled and finally after what we feel is the perfect amount of time, our casks are emptied and the whiskey is hand bottled ensuring that each and every aspect of producing whiskey is controlled and of the highest spec.
Buy Your Own Cask
The Descendants gives individuals, groups and businesses the opportunity to become one of only 100 cask owners in The Descendants Cask Programme. Each cask will be filled by spirit, distilled in Dingle Distillery, in the same method that all of our Single Malt Whiskeys have been distilled. Cask owners will have a choice to mature their spirit in a Bourbon, Port, Pedro Ximenez or Oloroso Cask over a minimum of an 8-year period.
